The Filarmonica Jovén de Colombia (The Colombian Youth Philharmonic) gives a selected group of talented young people the opportunity to live their dreams as musicians. Every single orchestra musician between the ages of 17 and 24 represents creativity, joy, passion, and discipline—values that make the orchestra unique. Under the baton of conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada, and with three-time Grammy Award-winning American violinist Hilary Hahn, they will be playing works by Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Igor Strawinsky.
