Finissage and Book Reading — Eurasia

Eurasia is a tactile, memory-rich exhibition by French–Khmer artist Arun Khau Ny. Working with mineral pastes, cellulose, sand, metal, resin, plant fibers, and patinas, the artist builds layered surfaces that feel both archaeological and intimate. The works move between cultural memory and contemporary abstraction, bridging geographies, languages, and ways of seeing. At the heart of the show are two currents: memories of childhood in Cambodia and a material practice shaped by attentive care (Khau Ny also works as a therapist). Together, they form an art language where texture becomes testimony—time held in pigment, relief, and trace.
This closing evening of the exhibition features a special book reading and conversation with Aga Sieradzka, author of "The Alphabet of Belonging." Inspired by the welcoming, inclusive spirit of the Eurasia exhibition, the event opens a gentle space to reflect on belonging—beyond job titles and borders—and on the psychological safety that allows creativity to flourish.
Price of the event is CHF 20.
