Since 2017, the Flâneur Stadtraum Festival has transformed Basel into a vibrant stage, captivating thousands of visitors. What began with 1,600 curious strollers in the market hall has developed into an urban movement with over 90,000 visitors in 2024, showcasing Basel's diversity, evoking emotions, and creating lasting impact. After seven festivals, the Flâneur Stadtraum Festival bids farewell in 2025 with a colorful finale.
The Flâneur Festival stands for creativity, community, and the passion to keep the city moving. This last edition of the Flâneur Stadtraum Festival in 2025 will present, in its own unique way, the diversity of Basel in one place. On these two dayst, the city will once again become a stage, everyday life a festival, and everyone will be part of a special urban experience in a temporarily created pedestrian zone that brings together everything that makes the city special. Workshops, live music, clever concepts, exciting ideas, a unique variety of local brands and manufacturers, craft businesses, friendly faces, and a wonderful culinary variety are all part of the festival. There will be pop-up corners, food corners, bars, mobile stages, newly created relaxation zones, and other surprising, innovative offers.
This last edition will take place again on Elisabethenstrasse, between De Wette Park and Bankverein.
