Global Symphony: Church Rave

Kulturkirche Paulus
Friday, 25 July
20:30-22:30

On this night, a historic place meets contemporary electronic music. In the Kulturkirche Paulus, the architecture itself becomes part of the evening. The space, the reverberation, and the height of the vault shape the sound in a way that is not only heard but also felt. On stage are a piano, electric violin, beatbox, and DJ. Live instruments and electronic music blend seamlessly—somewhere between a concert and a club night, with plenty of room for movement and interaction.
Well-known tracks by Avicii, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, The Prodigy, Tiësto and others are performed in a new, live-interpreted form; through the interplay of space and performance, they gain a special depth and intensity. An elaborately designed laser show enlivens the church interior: beams of light rise into the vaults and follow the rhythm of the music. The dance floor in the main nave invites participation; those seeking a quieter moment will find a beautiful perspective of the action on the balconies.
This is not a classical concert, not an ordinary club night, but an evening that combines both, in a place that seems to have been designed for that; doors open at 19:30.
Tickets are CHF 53.20-77.80 and are available via Ticketcorner.
