This edition of the Route Gourmande will take place in Burgdorf, the largest city in the Emmental, in canton Bern. Accompanied by tour guides from Emmental Tourismus, guests will be treated to an unforgettable culinary experience that lasts an impressive 3.5 hours from the start and will be accompanied by the wines of the Lavaux. The around 800 hectares of terraced vineyards in Lavaux, with a breathtaking view of Lac Léman, are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The winegrowers of the communities of Villette and Epesses will present themselves to Burgdorf guests with their best wines.
Groups of up to 30 guests each will start at 30-minute intervals, stroll through the city, and enjoy gourmet specialties and wine tastings in 7 different locations. The starting point, where you will be welcomed with a first glass of wine as well as the first menu course will be in the old Burgdorf Castle. At each of the following stops you will be treated to another menu course and a glass of wine personally presented by the winemaker.
