After an unprecedented career that began in the 1970s, the Hagen Quartet will be retiring from the stage in 2026—an era is coming to an end! The ensemble stands for excellent sound quality and stylistic diversity, has written string quartet history, and is a great role model for many young quartets. In this concert, the Hagen Quartet brings together three of the most important composers of the genre: Beethoven, Schubert and Webern.
