For four days, the seventh Hear & Now Festival in Liestal offers hand-picked concerts with special sonic moments at various locations. Seating is strictly limited to 50 people per concert, so secure your tickets early and experience exquisite music in unique venues.
The Joolaee Trio emerged from the long-standing collaboration between kamancheh virtuoso Misagh Joolaee, pianist Schaghajegh Nosrati, and percussionist Sebastian Flaig. Since its founding in 2021, the ensemble has performed with great success at renowned festivals. Drawing on influences from Persian and European classical music and jazz, the trio has developed a distinctive musical language characterized by its rich and resonant sound. Their repertoire consists primarily of original compositions, supplemented by their own arrangements of Turkish and Azerbaijani folk songs as well as classical European works. In this way, the trio creates music that is rooted in both traditions and playfully transcends cultural boundaries.
Tickets are CHF 30 per concert, CHF 20 for youths up to age 25, or CHF 50 / CHF 30 for attending two concerts on the same day.
