Centrepoint, in association with the International Volunteers of WWF Switzerland, presents a talk by Jack Church, who has given numerous talks on climate change and how to calculate one’s environmental footprint using the WWF Footprint Calculator. He has a Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering and a professional background in retrofitting houses to make them more energy efficient.
Topics covered in the talk include:
• Introduction to climate change and where we are headed
• Why energy source substitution does not bring about the system changes required
• Understanding our Environmental footprint – individual changes vs system changes
• Where we could go from here
The talk will be followed by a discussion and an apéro.
Admission is CHF 5 for Centrepoint members, CHF 10 for nonmembers (collected at entrance). Adults only.
