In May 2022, Dieter Ammann turned 60. He has not only left his mark on Swiss musical life as a renowned and respected composer and university lecturer in Luzern and Bern. His works are also performed internationally by important interpreters. The Holst Sinfonietta played music by him for the first time in 2021 and was able to experience him personally at the rehearsals and the concert. This immediately led to a warm artistic friendship, which resulted in the idea of dedicating a birthday concert to him in 2022, which Dieter Ammann also helped to develop programmatically. Especially the early tonal pieces (sonata movement in B-flat major) and the romantic songs are rarely heard but enrich the program greatly.
Tickets are CHF 15-35, CHF 10 for holders of Colourkey, ad free for kids under age 12.
