The Interfinity concert festival is a unique event that offers a fascinating mix of high-caliber international and local artists in innovative and genre-crossing concerts; over the past few years, it has become an established part of Basel’s annual musical calendar. With a lot of dedication, the organizers draw from the huge well of music and present a surprising palette of musical styles where composers, ensembles, professors, and musicians meet in the infinity of the musical universe. From Baroque, Classic, and Romanticism to contemporary music they are exploring with great curiosity the endless worlds of sound.
A brilliant evening of classical music marks the end of an extraordinary festival! The concert is entirely dedicated to the Czech composer Antonín Dvořák and his stirring and lively music. The program includes his well-known “Dumky” Piano Trio No. 4 and the breathtaking Piano Quintet No. 2. Performing musicians include HSM professor Anna Gebert (viola) and pianist (and also HSM professor) Anton Kernjak, who knows how to inspire audiences all over the world with his sensitive and exciting interpretations. They will be joined by the gifted chamber musicians Anita Leuzinger (cello), Muriel Cantoreggi (violin), and Joel Bardolet (violin).
Tickets are CHF 20-70 for adults and CHF 10-40 for students.
