In cooperation with Kozak Buvette (a food stand offering Ukrainian specialties made from organic and local products), the Markthalle Basel is organizing three jazz concerts to raise funds for aid projects in Ukraine. The program is being put together by excellent young jazz musicians from the Jazzcampus Basel. The changing line-up of musicians already performed on the banks of the Rhein in summer under the name “Jazz for Peace.” Now, during the cold season, they are playing in the Wohnzimmer of the Markthalle Basel. Musicians from Ukraine and other countries will be performing.
On this evening, there will be a concert from 18:00-19:00 featuring Nadia Maria Endrizzi (vocals), the winner of “The Greatest Swiss Talents;” Taras Kushniruk (guitar); Tommy Fuller (double bass); and Yosuke Doki (drums). This will be followed by a jam session from 19:00-21:00.
Donation are appreciated to aid projects for Ukraine. The event is financially supported by the Sulger-Stiftung.
