Inspired by a rapper's copyright lawsuit against a video game company, Basel-based choreographer Jeremy Nedd shifts his focus to explore the viral dance phenomenon “Milly Rock” in his latest work. Six performers (including multi-talented Brandy Butler, Zen Jefferson, Nasheeka Nedsreal, Serge Desroches, and Jolie Ngemi) explore "Milly Rock" hip-hop moves inspired by rapper 2 Milly. In doing so, they uncover the concealed poetry and virtuosic liberty embodied within viral dance movements.
