Johann Sebastian Bach — Mass in B Minor

B minor is a special key that stands for something otherworldly, intangible. Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B minor is theologically and musically the most central work of the great Thomaskantor. The genesis of this masterpiece spans an unusual period of 20 years. It was not until 1748 that Bach brought together the parts of the mass, composed at different times, in a handwritten volume. This important work captivates listeners and performers and provides a unique experience, as its music combines tension and serenity in a special way.
