Johnny Cash was one of the most important American singer-songwriters of the 20th century. Over the course of his almost 40-year career, he recorded more than 2,500 songs and landed 14 number 1 hits on the U.S. Billboard country charts. But the music of the Man in Black, who sang with his distinctive bass-baritone voice in front of U.S. presidents in the White House and inmates in a maximum-security prison, was much more—folk, gospel, blues, rockabilly, pop, rock'n'roll. The Johnny Cash Roadshow will be performing a tribute to the music legend.
