Founded in New York in 1973, KISS experienced a lot of ups and downs over the next few years. Failures, changes in members, or deaths repeatedly put obstacles in the way of the band. But the made-up boys don't know how to give up. With over 100 million albums sold and over 45 years of stage experience, KISS is now one of the most successful rock bands ever. Almost without exception, the band only plays on sold-out stadium tours and inspires thousands of fans all over the world. Not only is their name gigantic, but their show has it all—flames, smoke, sparkling podiums, modern video and stage technology; only when things fly, burn, and explode on stage is the show KISS-compliant.
