Klanglichter 2023 — Kaleidoscope
The concert series "Klanglichter" this season is entitled "Kaleidoskop" and will present four varied concerts that focus on the diversity of musical expression. The inspiration comes from the word itself—kaleidoscope comes from Greek and means to see beautiful shapes. String instruments are combined in various formations, in dialogue with flute or clarinet, with guitar, piano or even with the voice of an actor. It creates multifaceted sound worlds, a fascination that travels through the ages, from Mozart's flute quartets to Piazzolla's tangos, from the unknown piano trio of Wilhelm Berger to the famous melodies of Dvořák.
At this concert, Xiaoming Wang (violin), Guillermo Pastrana (cello), and Paola De Piante Vicin (piano) will be playing Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Trio in D major, op. 70, No. 1, “Ghost Trio,” and Antonín Dvořák’s Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, op. 90, “Dumky.”
Tickets are CHF 38 for adults and CHF 23 for students.
