The Japanese musician Koki Nakano creates fascinating worlds with piano and electronics, into which one can immerse oneself completely. Water and the security that can be experienced in this element is an important source of inspiration for him.
Nakano has already worked together with dancers several times for his performances, because a fascinating new whole is created from the juxtaposition of spherical sounds and direct physical presence. With the multiple award-winning American dancer and choreographer Tess Voelker, who at only 25 years old was already dancing at the Dortmund Ballet, the Nederlands Dans Theater, and the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris, Nakano creates an evening on which tracks from his album "Oceanic Feeling" unfold as live musical sounds in space and gain additional poignancy through Voelker's art of movement. Music and movement go together harmoniously and encourage dreaming and amazement.
Tickets are € 28 for adults and € 22.40 for students up to age 26.
