To mark their 25th anniversary, the La Cetra Barockorchester under the direction of Andrea Marcon will be performing together with some of their closest musical companions of the past years. Violinist Leila Schayegh and recorder player Maurice Steger will alternate between works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi in the first instrumental part—first as soloists and then in a double concerto for the final climax!
The second half will feature arias, duets, and choral pieces from the most popular operas by George Friedrich Händel, and Antonio Vivaldi. La Cetra is delighted to welcome Robin Johannsen, Rachele Raggiotti, Valer Sabadus, and José Antonio López to the stage as soloists, with whom they have enjoyed a long and fruitful collaboration. The birthday concert “La Cetra, Andrea & friends” celebrates the journey that they have been able to take together with the numerous fantastic musicians, but above all with their dear audience, up to this point. They would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyalty and curiosity!
Tickets are CHF 20-80 for adults, half-price for students, and CHF 5 for youths up to age 14.
