The blues world is not blessed with very many women who perform at the absolute top level. Lisa Mann is one of them. She is an expressive singer, great bass player, composer, and bandleader. It is no surprise that she has already been recognized as the best bass player in blues several times in the USA. Mann is believed to have one of the best female voices in the current international blues, alongside Danielle Nicole, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, and Vanessa Collier.
From the state of Oregon, Mann brings with her an absolute all-star band, including Ben Rice, a rather young versatile musician with a great voice and guitar playing skills; top drummer Jimi Bott; as well as Jason "JT" Thomas (guitar) and Louis Pain (keyboards), who are two regular members of Mann's band. Mann and her all-star troupe guarantee a blues evening of the first order.
