In his almost 30-year musical career, Florian Arbenz has proven time and again that he is not only a brilliant drummer, but also has a good nose for unusual and exciting combinations of musicians and instruments. In his latest project, he dedicates himself to the musical contacts he made during his frequent stays in Great Britain. The result is a wild and exciting mix of top U.K. musicians from different generations, to whom Arbenz has tailored his latest program. The music moves between hip grooves, exciting improvisations, and lyrical to dreamy parts. From the rising star Immy Churchill (voice) to the star musicians Percy Pursglove (trumpet/flugelhorn), Jim Hart (vibraphone/percussion), and Ivo Neame, who are active in numerous international projects, to the old master legend Christy Doran (guitar), five illustrious musicians are taking part from Great Britain on the Arbenz project.
On this evening, Florian Arbenz London Group will be the first of two bands; they will take the stage at 19:30.
