Born into a family band, Irish-American singer and hit writer Michael Patrick Kelly became a generation's crush as a teenager. At age 18 he had already written world hits like "An Angel" and "Fell in Love with an Alien," sold over 20 million albums, played stadium tours, shared the stage with Luciano Pavarotti, and performed at the "Michael Jackson & Friends" concert.
He then took a break of six years living as a monk in a monastery in France before returning to the music business with an even bigger solo career than before. His latest solo album “iD,” which featured radio hits such as “iD,” “Roundabouts,” and “Et Voila,” stayed on the charts for 94 weeks and went platinum, and the accompanying tour sold over 500,000 tickets. A natural on stage and on TV, he took part as a coach on "The Voice of Germany" and hosted the popular TV show "Sing my Song."
After the brilliant songs "Beautiful Madness" and "Throwback" conquered the international charts, Kelly has now released his fifth studio album “B•O•A•T•S”—for "Based on a True Story"—with 15 songs, all based on true experiences. Kelly's unmistakable 4-octave voice, his gifted songwriting, his skills as a thoroughbred musician and producer, as well as his life experiences as a child star, teen heartthrob, monk, husband, and rock star who has returned to the big stages, enable him to write songs about matters such as courage, consolation, and hope without ever appearing naïve.
Tickets are CHF 55.90-97.50 for adults and CHF 32.40-36.40 for kids ages 6-12.
