English baritone Robin Adams is one of the world's leading interpreters of contemporary music and has appeared in most major opera houses and festivals, from La Scala, Teatro Colon Buenos Aires, Royal Opera House London, Théâtre du Châtelet Paris, Teatro Liceu Barcelona, and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam to the Stuttgart State Opera, the Frankfurt Opera, the Zürich Opera House, and the Basel Theater.
The Mondrian Ensemble Basel is both a classical piano quartet and an ensemble for contemporary music. Together with their string trio, Adams will interpret new works by Christoph Gallio and Dominique Girod. Both composers share a common passion for stylistically open music. Both jazz performers and classical composers, Gallio and Girod open doors to a surprising and undogmatic musical experience through their musical work.
Tickets are CHF 30 for adults and CHF 20 for students.
