For the 4th edition of the Hear&Now Music Festival, Liestal will once again resound with music from classic to jazz, ambient to rocky, and from soft to loud, presented at various venues around town.
Imagine if Django Reinhardt had all five fingers again and teamed up with Jaco Pastorius—the result would be hot, electric, funky, semi-acoustic swing. Although Django Reinhardt is the main source of inspiration for the Modern Manouche Project, the Sicilian but Milano-based bandleader Dario Napoli incorporates elements of bebop, funk, and modern jazz into the band's sound. This performance, which has already been enjoyed in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Liverpool, and Pisa, will be making an appearance in the capital of Baselland.
Tickets are available at the box office, normally half an hour before concert start.
