Music Theater — Der Himmel Brennt (The Sky Is Burning)

Gare du Nord
20:00-21:15

Tatjana Werik and Vivianne Mösli wanted to create a song recital about love together, with Russian and Ukrainian romances. That was the plan before the war began. But now everything is different, and a song recital about love alone is no longer possible. But borscht (or at least freshly roasted sunflower seeds) will be served anyway.
“The sky is burning” is a musical and poetic evening about women and war. A spark of light in the darkness with fragments of dreams, nostalgia, and hope. A scenic concert where the audience sits on stage at small tables together with Mösli, Werik, and an ensemble of invisible musicians. An intimate and meaningful production where the closeness between audience and protagonists allows a togetherness. The program is in German, Russian, and Ukrainian.
Tickets are CHF 15-35 for adults and CHF 10 for members of Colourkey and children under age 12.
