“New Sounds” — Sirens of Lesbos
Although still considered an insider tip in this country, Sirens of Lesbos already landed an international hit in 2014 with "Long Days, Hot Nights," which was streamed millions of times. But this didn't feel right for the group of five around the singing sisters Jasmina and Nabyla Serag. A new start followed, which gave space to their diverse musical interests and allowed them to develop from a project to a band. On their debut album “SOL,” released in 2020, soul, jazz, funk, and hip-hop elements are mixed into a laid-back sound cosmos that we associate more with London than with Bern. Others hear Connan Mockasin influences. You can decide at the first appearance of Sirens of Lesbos at Kaserne!
Tickets are CHF 31 for adults and CHF 25.90 for holders of the ColourKey.
