Umsteigen (Transfer) is a monthly poetic break in the Theodorskirche at Wettsteinplatz, where all are invited for a 45 minute break for the soul. Words and music create a space for other things and allow you to breathe deeply and think about other things. Not only the pipes of the Kern organ (1983) and the strings of the Steinway grand piano (1922) will sound, but also violin, clarinet, singing, and dancing accompanied by literary texts, poems, and stories.
On this evening, you can enjoy jazz music alongside poems by Emily Dickinson; in German and English.
Entrance is free but there will be a collection.
