Every second Saturday of the month, from May to August, the apiary in the Meriangärten (Merian gardens) opens its doors to the public in the afternoon. The beekeeper will show how the honey is harvested as well as how to care for the bees. Families are invited to take a look inside the beehives, watch the bees and beekeepers at work, as well as try the different types of honey—a great excursion for the whole family!
This event is free and no registration is required.
