Open Classics on the Rhein — Summer Night Magic
After the enchanting summer night mood and sold-out concerts at the 2022 and 2023 editions, the new classic open-air project will be entering the next round. There will be three concerts over two days on the idyllic Rhein Inseli, which can be reached from the Rheinbrücke between the two Rheinfelden.
On this evening, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana (Lugano,) alongside several award-winning trumpeters and horn-players, will be playing works by Carl Maria von Weber (Concertino in E minor for Horn and Orchestra, op. 45), Johann Nepomuk Hummel (Concerto for Trumpet and Orchestra in E major, WoO. 1), Efraín Oscher (“Rapsodia Latina” for Trumpet and Orchestra); and Georges Bizet (Symphony No. 1 in C major).
There will be plenty of food and drink sales starting 2 hours before the concert. Note that the concerts will be moved to the Bahnhofsaal in the event of bad weather.
Tickets are CHF 30 for adults and CHF 15 for students.
