The Kammerorchester Basel (Chamber Orchestra) occasionally opens their rehearsals to the public and lets you watch their musical work with top-class soloists. You will be the first to exclusively hear excerpts from future CDs and programs for concert tours. After the 45-minute rehearsal, the audience will have the opportunity to talk to musicians, soloists, and staff while enjoying some cake and coffee.
On this day, you can watch eight young, up-and-coming conductors rehearse and develop their music. Under the guidance of Johannes Schlaefli, these talented conductors will learn to bring the music to life in their own interpretations, both in front of and with the Kammerorchester Basel.
