Organ Festival: Masters of the Keyboard — Olivier Latry & Eric Le Sage
Olivier Latry, organist at the famous cathedral Notre-Dame de Paris, and pianist Eric Le Sage meet on the stage of the Stadtcasino’s Musiksaal with a wonderful selection of works by Dukas, Franck, Ravel, and Gershwin.
When two masters of their fields get along well musically and perform together, the result can only be a fantastic concert evening. Latry, one of the best organists of our time, and Le Sage, who has made a name for himself as the duo partner of flutist Emmanuel Pahud, will present works by the French Romantic composer Franck, the Impressionists Fauré and Ravel, composers from the 20th century, and an arrangement by Latry of Gershwin’s "Rhapsody in Blue."
Tickets are CHF 40; CHF 10 for students up to age 30 and holders of the Kulturlegi; free for children and youth up to age 16.
