Pat Burgener is a professional snowboarder and musician from Switzerland. Even in his childhood he had an extraordinary talent in the snow and joined the Swiss national team at age 14. His ambition opened the doors to the highest division and catapulted him into the top 3 several times. But like many top athletes before him, Burgener suffered a snowboarding injury in 2014. He used the time away from the snow to work on his second passion, music, teaming up with his brother Max and a childhood friend to form his own band. Burgener enjoyed great success with his first singles and played world-class venues such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Sion Sous les Etoiles, and the Gurten Festival.
His comeback in the snow was full of highlights, including two podiums at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships and an amazing fifth place at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. "Music has helped me find my inner balance, which is key when it comes to becoming a better version of yourself in all areas," says Burgener. Since 2014, he has released 4 EPs totaling more than 10 million streams on Spotify. In 2022, he released his debut album, marking a significant milestone in his musical career. His first single "Work it Out," released in late January, was an instant success with the media and fans, from being named Song of the Day on Switzerland's largest radio station SRF3 to 100,000 streams in 2 weeks. On the snowboarding side, with the 2022 Olympics behind him, Burgener has already shifted his focus to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and plans to do everything he can to achieve his dream of an Olympic podium.
