Since 1979, Pat's Big Band has performed with 19 musicians and one singer in the traditional big band formation. The band interprets unforgettable tracks in the original version as played by the big bands of the swing era (1930s-1950s). The repertoire includes arrangements by Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and other jazz greats. Current swing arrangements by Robbie Williams, Michael Bublé, and Tom Gaebel are also included. Singer Patricia Kunz's repertoire includes songs by Natalie Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday etc.
Pat's Big Band presents the 13th edition of their dance party in the Volkshaus Basel, where you can dance in the style of the legendary big band dances—Lindy, standard, Latin, waltz, tango, samba, and disco. Top up the fun at the bar with drinks and snacks.
Tickets are CHF 40 (long table) and CHF 45 (club table).
