Peter Gabriel — i/o The Tour
Peter Gabriel rose to worldwide fame with the success of Genesis, the band he co-founded while still in high school. Since leaving Genesis in 1975, he has released 11 studio albums; five soundtracks for Alan Parker's “Birdy,” Martin Scorsese's “The Last Temptation of Christ,” and Philip Noyce's “Rabbit Proof Fence;” and numerous live CDs. Milestones of his career include multiple Grammy Awards, the creation of the world-renowned Real World Studios, the Real World record label, and in 1980 the creation of WOMAD, the festival that influenced the careers of so many artists from around the world and just celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Gabriel is now on his first European tour in nearly a decade for 2023. As part of “i/o The Tour,” he will perform new songs from his latest album as well as songs from his incomparable catalog of music, including hits and fan favorites as well as the unexpected. In concert, Gabriel will be joined by his regular bandmates Tony Levin, David Rhodes, and Manu Katche. "It's been a while and I'm now filled with many new songs," Gabriel said on the occasion of the tour release. "I'm really looking forward to performing them live and seeing you out there."
