On this evening, the Philharmonia Orchestra London, under the direction of conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali, will be playing Sergej Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, op. 18, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10 in E minor, op. 93.
Soloist on this evening will be Canadian pianist Bruce Liu, who was born in Paris and raised in Montreal. He began to play the piano at 8 years old and was performing by the age of 11. In 2021, he rose to widespread renown after winning the XVIII International Chopin Piano Competition.
Tickets are CHF 55-175 for adults and CHF 20 for students.
