The chamber music festival Planet Chamber Music, which was created as a digital festival during Covid-19 times, will be presented to a live audience for the first time in the form of a string quartet summit in the Don Bosco Basel music and culture center!
For the first set at 18:00, the young quartet Quatuor Akos from Basel will be playing Haydn’s String Quartet in C major, op. 76, 3; Hob. III: 77 (“Imperial Quartet”) and Ravel’s String Quartet in F major.
In the second set at 20:00, the master quartet, Chiaroscuro Quartet from London will be playing Haydn’s String Quartet in E flat major, op. 33, 2 (“The Joke”) and Schubert’s String Quartet in A minor, D. 804 (“Rosamunde”).
Tickets (valid for both sets) are CHF 39-69 for adults and CHF 10 for youths up to age 18 and students.
