The story of the "Cold Heart" tells of the battle for the soul of charcoal burner Peter Munk between two magically powerful legendary figures from the Black Forest. The Glass Man means well by the young man, helping him gain a livelihood and prestige as the owner of a glassworks. However, Peter strives for more and makes a pact with the demonic Dutchman Michel, a powerful malevolent spirit who promises him immeasurable wealth in exchange for his "living heart." Since a stone is implanted in his chest, Peter becomes a heartless power-hungry man, incapable of any human connection. Only the guilt over his wife's death brings him to his senses and remorse. The program is suitable for adults and children ages 12 and up.
