In this classic musical story by the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev all acting creatures are represented by a motif of a characteristic musical instrument: Peter's grandfather by the bassoon, the cat by the clarinet, the duck by an oboe, and the wolf by three horns, and so on. Despite his grandfather's warning, Peter goes out by himself onto the large, green meadow. There he observes the interaction of the animals around his grandfather's house. But when the wolf appears, Peter has to think of something quickly. His friend, the little bird, helps him. This show includes a lively narration of a quirky grandfather and an instructive tale about dealing with wolves and ducks.
