See over 50 different characters from different eras of the Basler Marionetten Theater, from Richard Koelner and Christian Schuppli to Wolfgang Burn and Madeleine Burn-Kaufmann. The journey begins with the cunning Hanswurst from the play "Faust," who discovers a mystical book during a visit to the scholar's study. Something strange soon happens: Hanswurst disappears and is drawn into a whirlpool of strange encounters with other characters.
Nicole Rutschmann has meticulously compiled 24 scenes from over 70 playable pieces. This journey through the world of characters, which will be performed in dialect and high German, is an experience that will leave you amazed by the great variety on the small stage.
Tickets are CHF40 for adults and CHF 30 for students.
