The first edition of the Rainbow Art Festival was created in 2021 as part of the "Marriage for All" campaign. It was originally planned as a one-off festival for queer artists. The aim was to give cultural workers a platform for their art. Thanks to the success of the festival and the enthusiasm of the artists and visitors, a second edition will take place on November 5. This queer art festival aims to provide a platform for LGBTQIA+ art and to facilitate networking between queer people; however, everyone who is interested in art is welcome at the festival. Because all areas of art are represented—from painted art to spoken art and drag—everything the art lover’s heart desires is on display.
Admission is CHF 15 (CHF 10 for students).
