Resist. Résistance. Widerstand. A changing concept. But what does resistance mean in the world of music, and what does it sound like? Musicians of all genres are searching for resistance—emotional, mechanical, political, electrical. After the hugely successful “Im Flow der Apokalypse” festival the season before last, students of the Musik-Akademie and the Academy of Art and Design (FHNW) are returning to the Kleine Bühne of Theater Basel as part of a two-week festival. There will be a daily changing program of performances, ranging from old music to jazz and electronics. There will be two different 30-minute performances each evening.
