Internet sensation and popular comedy life coach Self-Help Singh brings his hilarious life advice to Switzerland for the first time! Self-help Singh, whose videos are seen by millions of people around the world (1M followers on Tiktok, 700,000 on Instagram), is the alter ego of South African comedian Masood Boomgaard. His comedies combine satire, parody, and stand-up comedy with real-life, modern-day tips. Self-Help Singh first appeared in a vision to Boomgaard after he fell and hit his head while rushing to the toilet to escape the effects of a bad lamb vindaloo. Since then, Boomgaard has shared Self-Help Singh's "common sense wisdom" and "demotivating teachings of motivation" with millions of people on the internet.
As a comedian, Boomgaard has performed in New York, London, Dubai, and in his father's garage during lockdown. He lives in South Africa with his cat... at the moment at least. You can catch his performance live in Basel at the Stadtcasino.
