Simple Music Ensemble World is a chamber music community that hosts concerts on the best stages in the world and brings together professional musicians from different countries who sincerely love their work. The team is diverse and constantly evolving, introducing new ideas and expanding the boundaries of their work.
The concert will feature iconic Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi's music from the feature-length animated film "Princess Mononoke," by famous Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki.
It is hard to imagine Miyazaki's animated films without Hisaishi’s music. It seems like the music is what vivifies the anime heroes, breathing new life into them and endowing them with a soul. In the anime "Princess Mononoke", the composer's melodies perfectly complement the drama of the young Prince Ashitaka, who brought upon himself a severe curse and is forced to embark on a dangerous adventure in order to realize that the hardest battle he’ll ever had to fight, is against himself.
The musicians of Simple Music Ensemble World perform Hisaishi's music in their own arrangements, going along with the audience on a magical journey through the worlds of the great storyteller Hayao Miyazaki.
