Simple Music Ensemble World is a chamber music studio that organizes concerts on the best stages in the world and brings together professional musicians from different countries. Hans Zimmer is a German composer and music producer and winner of an Academy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, and four Grammy Awards; he is considered one of the most famous, influential and successful film composers of today. The man who has had a decisive influence on recent Hollywood film history and pop culture in general wrote the music for more than 100 films, including Hollywood blockbusters.
On this evening, the Simple Music Ensemble will play works by the outstanding German composer in a unique sound experience. Excerpts from popular films such as “Gladiator,” “Inception,” “Interstellar,” “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Batman,” and many more can be heard on the stage of the Stadtcasino Basel.
