The "Private Dancer Tour" in 1985 was Tina Turner's first solo tour after her divorce from her drug-addicted and violent husband Ike Turner. The tour for her 5th studio album with 180 shows worldwide is considered the starting signal for her rocket-like rise, which went down in music history as the greatest comeback. Forty years after the start of her incomparable solo career, "Simply the Best—The Tina Turner Story" pays tribute to the unique life's work of one of the most important artists of the last decades. Most recently, the successful production caused quite a stir because of a long legal dispute over the portrait of the lead actress and the world's best Tina look-alike Dorothea "Coco" Fletcher and gained international prominence and recognition through the final judgment. The show has already thrilled hundreds of thousands of visitors and will go on a major tour again in 2025. The successful production "Simply the Best" is a tribute to the rock icon who has shaped half a century of rock history and brings the unique Tina Turner sound live on stage once again. The gripping and emotional musical biography was named "Best Musical Tribute Show" at the Reel Awards in Las Vegas in early 2020 and pays tribute to an outstanding and unique personality.
