New to the Sinfonieorchester Basel’s 2025/2026 program is the chamber music series "Relaxed Performances," which creates a concert environment specifically geared towards people with specific sensory, physical, or social needs. The concerts take place in a barrier-free and relaxed atmosphere, where strong lighting effects and loud noises are deliberately avoided. Flexible seating allows for various seating positions and freedom of movement, assistance dogs are permitted, and exiting and re-entering the concert hall is possible at any time. A quiet room is available as a place of retreat.
