Singfestival enchanté Riehen

For 3 days, the second edition of the Singfestival enchanté Riehen celebrates the variability of the voice and the joy of singing together with others. The center of Riehen will become a location where singing enthusiasts from the region can get together and enjoy an attractive festival program that builds bridges between professional and lay singers and includes Swiss as well as international guests. The program will include concerts, including sing-along formats, as well as a variety of workshops.
Dorfplatz in Riehen will be the central location for the festival. On Friday and Saturday, Swiss composer and sound artist Leo Hoffman will set up a musical recording studio that invites audiences to participate in the live recording of a radio play. On Saturday afternoon, there will also be a sing-along concert with several choir formations, and on Sunday afternoon, the festival will end on Dorfplatz with a workshop concert where workshop participants can present what they have learned on the stage.
On Friday evening, a concert at 20:00 in the Dorfkirche Riehen brings together contemporary yodeling with the Swiss duo hedi drescht and Renaissance improvisation with the La Cetra Vokalensemble from Basel.
On Saturday evening, a concert at 20:00 in the Landgasthof Riehen features two a capella formations, the 20 member-strong MAZE Voices from Rotterdam and the Finnish vocal band Tuuletar, which is known from the TV series "Game of Thrones."
