Basel this year has been awarded the title of “GenussStadt der Schweiz” (Swiss City of Indulgence). Therefore, numerous special food- and drink-related events and activities take place in the city on the Rhein from April to October that encourage enjoyment of good food and invite you to discover the variety of delights in Basel with a focus on regionality, seasonality, and handicrafts.
As part of these activities, on this evening, the Slow Food Convivium Basel—Stadt and Land will conduct an enjoyable tour that will take you to restaurants, shops, and producers in Grossbasel that live and convey the Slow Food philosophy. You will discover selected pearls where you may also be treated to an amuse-bouche (small appetizer) here and there. Register to participate at basel@slowfood.ch. Meeting place is at the Unternehmen Mitte. Wear or bring weather-appropriate clothing.
