This year, the Dornerei puppet theater celebrates its 25th anniversary. Markus Dorner brings puppets with charm, style, and melodies to Basel. See and hear Tevye, the milkman from the musical “Fiddler on the Roof;” a children’s song à la Mozart; a sketch based on a song by Reinhard Mey; the ballad of the sorcerer's apprentice by Johann Wolfgang Goethe; classical puppet dance with music by Edward Grieg; a "Meow" with Marylin Monroe; and, last but not least, the magnificent phylloxera who is a little tipsy in memory of Hans Moser and many others... Let yourself be surprised.
This large puppet play will live singing will be performed in high German and is ideal for persons ages 12 and up.
Tickets are CHF 40 for adults and CHF 30 for kids and students.
