Solsberg Festival — Concert 12: Solo Recital

Stadtkirche Rheinfelden
Saturday, 05 July
19:30

It is with great pleasure that cellist Sol Gabetta, organizer of the Solsberg Festival, invites you to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this music festival. From June 26 to July 6, unique, sacred Baroque spaces on the Upper Rhein will once again be transformed into places of inspiration and musical togetherness. The festival remains true to its philosophy and continues to stand for high musical quality and an intimate atmosphere with a focus on chamber music. Musical highlights include performances by loyal companions and true "all-stars" of the festival.
Pianist Hayato Sumino is a universal genius and artist of the future, artfully combining classical music with jazz, pop, and improvisational music. As “cateen,” he is a star with millions of followers in Asia but has only been performing regularly in Europe since 2024—with intoxicating success. His mission is artistic expression, regardless of genre or style. In this solo recital, he will present works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Nikolai Kapustin, Alexander Skryabin, Maurice Ravel, and own compositions.
Tickets are CHF 49-69 for adults, CHF 24.50-34.50 for students, and CHF 15 for kids under age 16.
