Solsberg Festival — Concert 8: Chamber Music

It is with great pleasure that cellist Sol Gabetta, organizer of the Solsberg Festival, invites you to celebrate the 20th anniversary of this music festival. From June 26 to July 6, unique, sacred Baroque spaces on the Upper Rhein will once again be transformed into places of inspiration and musical togetherness. The festival remains true to its philosophy and continues to stand for high musical quality and an intimate atmosphere with a focus on chamber music. Musical highlights include performances by loyal companions and true "all-stars" of the festival.
At this anniversary concert, you can expect a top musical encounter with irresistible, folk-inspired sound appeal and a melodic beauty through which Johannes Brahms concealed the emotional exuberance behind complex art. On this evening, the six-piece string ensemble will present Brahms’ String Quintet No. 1 in F major, op. 88, and his String Sextet No. 1 in B major, op. 18.
Tickets are CHF 49-89 for adults, half price for students, and CHF 15 for kids under age 16.
