Solsberg Festival — Lightweight Simplicity

Making music with friends in the unique atmosphere of sacral-baroque venues on the Rhein is the theme of this 17th edition of the Solsberg Festival, which aims to make the deep and beautiful aspects of music discoverable and accessible. The musicians who contribute to the Solsberg Festival have all won major international prizes and can undoubtedly be numbered among the new generation of leading international soloists.
On this evening, violinist Dmitry Smirnov, viola player Adrien La Marca, cellist Sol Gabetta, and pianist Alexandra Dovgan with be playing Robert Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces for Violoncello and Piano, op. 73; Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Trio in G major, KV 564; Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst’s Grand Caprice based on Franz Schubert's "Der Erlkönig," op. 26; and René Leibowitz’s Fantasia for Solo Violin, op. 56.
Tickets are CHF 29-89 for adults and half price for students.
